Happy Birthday Jeff! Last weekend I surprised Jeff with a trip to Busch Gardens for his birthday. Now...I hate roller coasters! So I had to call in a few friends so Jeff wouldn't be alone on the rides. While they were waiting to get on the roller coasters I got to go roam around the park. Here is a picture of one of the coasters they rode: Thanks Cliff and Derek for coming and surprising Jeff! Yes...we rode the bumper cars! The three boys are in the middle We also rode on a 3-d ride. The air conditioning was really nice! We finished off the birthday weekend with coconut cake. Happy Birthday Jeff! I love you and can't wait to spend many more birthdays together! :)

I know it's been a REALLY long time since my last post, but I'm tracked back into school. This means that I'm not running around on vacation any more and I have time to update. After my beautiful trip to Panama City with my family, Jeff and I went up to Shenandoah Valley with his family. The first night Reece and grandma cooked dinner.  Then we went to the playground and got some energy out. Reece was very brave trying the rock wall, monkey bars, and the slides. Riley also enjoyed some play time! With Grandma Hester! I think this might be my favorite picture of Reece. I caught him off guard and captured his cute smile! That same night the boys went to the driving range. The girls and kids crashed the party! The guys were ok with the party crash and even gave some of us lessons! Later in the week Jeff, his dad, and I went horseback riding. This was Jeff and his dad's first time riding horses. I of course got the sassy horse. He kept goin...

I've been on what seems like to Jeff a constant vacation since I've tracked out of school. It's been great! This past week my mom, Lauren, Anna, and I went to Panama Beach, Florida. My Great Aunt Bobbi has a beach house there and she was kind enough to have us down for a WHOLE WEEK! After spending 12+hours in a car traveling there we definitely had to go in the water. It was crystal clear water! Absolutely beautiful! Here are some 'Thank goodness we're out of that car' pictures: That night my Aunt Bobbi taught us a good cooking trick. My mom was making her famous lemon chicken, but she couldn't find anything to flatten the chicken. So-cheap trick-use a water bottle that is full. It actually worked quite well! The rest of the week we played in the water EVERY day! This was a common sight though: Anna very frequently got creeped out by the critters that were in the water. So now that I'm tracked out....it's time for some crafts!!! I started with a wedding present that Jeff and I received back in October. I was a bad crafter and completely forgot to take before pictures...Sorry! So we got a clock that looked something like the clock below but it was black and gold: The only thing wrong with the clock is that we don't have any black in our house, so we couldn't find anywhere to put it up. So I painted the background creme, made some brown vinyl numbers, spraypainted the arms, and spray painted the outside of the clock. Presto-brown clock that matches our house now! Next project was to paint and hang some very large frames for our living room. My mom got some frames from work that they were giving away. She lovingly gave them to me and I spray painted them brown. Here is the before picture of the HUGE wall in our living room: Here it is after the frames are hung.
