Hester Happenings

A couple of weeks ago it was Katie's birthday so the family went to celebrate with her! We started off the festivities with a home cooked dinner, thanks to Chef daddy! Wil got Katie this adorably cute penguin cake!   We also had some play time: We ended the weekend with a hair dying party. My sister's cancer came back and thankfully the doctors found it early this time. Please check out her own blog  here  to read her inspiring story. She is quit the fighter! Because Katie is awesomely fun she decided that she wanted her hair teal, pink, and purple for her first round of chemo. She did something similar to this last time. You can read about that  here .  Before: First step was bleach: Katie really didn't like this part! Time is sure flying! Naomi is already 5 months! Here are some updates: *She is wearing 3-6 sized clothes. Naomi is our little itty bitty! * She has been flipping over onto her tummy to sleep now. She'll sometimes stick her little tush in the air when sleeping. *She is rolling all over the place. The other week she scootched with her arms down clear across the floor! As soon as she figures out her arms she'll be crawling! *She is only waking up 1 time per night now! Let's hope that lasts! :) Since I just can't get over how quickly she is growing and changing I made a collage. These are pictures from a couple weeks old to now. She's growing up way to fast for me! Our little Naomi is 4 months old! I can hardly believe it's been 4 months since she joined us! Here are some updates about our little one: -She's getting bigger! Now...she is still in 0-3 clothes but she fits into some 3-6 month sized pjs. She is in the 10% for weight and 40% for weight! -Naomi loves to stand and look around her. We've gotten several people that have told us "Wow! She's so alert for a 4 month old". She really enjoys looking at other people and checking out her surroundings. -She is still a smiley baby! She smiles a lot! Naomi has started to 'talk' a lot more and she is so much more interactive. She wakes up every time with a huge smile on her face! -Naomi has a new cousin that was born recently and her name is Nola.
