For those of you who do not live near us- February was the month of snow! It lasted about 2 weeks which is almost unheard of in our part of the world! The first time it snowed Jeff still had to work so I took Naomi out. As you can see from the yard we got a little snow, but you can still see the grass. The problem with this first storm is that it was mostly ice...not good for driving! Thankfully I had a baby snow suit for Naomi to wear. I first put her on our deck to let her explore the snow. She loved it! She then found a deck pillow with ice on it. She then crushed the ice... Then she decided it looked good enough to eat! Next she explored the grass. It was quite funny watching her try to pick stuff up in those mittens! She was determined though! She eventually picked up a snow covered pine cone and tried to eat that...see a pattern yet? :) We didn't have any sleds-so a laundry basket had to do!
